Sophie at 7 months

Was in very good spirits as we went for my monthly routine check up coz Hubby and I just celebrated our 3rd year anniversary the day before.


Sophie's 28 weeks and in just another 2 and half more months, she'll be all ready to greet the world! This month, Sophie already weighs 1.086 kg. So that's slightly on the heavier side. Hope she don't grow toooo big else means mummy will also carry more weight :P

After the check up, my mom accompanied me for some major shopping for Sophie. Bought a lot of the basic necessities like clothes for new born, long sleeves, short sleeves, shorts, long pants, PJs, nappies, mittens and booties, dresses, etc. So much clothes, she wun be running around naked.

After this round of shopping, the next round will be buying stuffs like the furniture, playpen, baby bouncer, and many other misc stuffs. So fun preparing for your arrival Sophie dear.

With just another 2 and a half more months, I need to catch up on my reading too. Currently reading "Secrets of the Baby Whisperer." by Tracy Hoggs. Interesting read where the author advocates the need to incorporate a new baby into the family's routine. Many have raved that her methods have worked, especially on putting baby to sleep, so I'm all in!
